Carlos Naguib, OD

Dr. Naguib is a primary eye care physician that provides comprehensive eye exams and specializes in the treatment of ocular disease with experience in pre-operative and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery. He manages various conditions such as, keratoconus, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other ocular diseases. Dr. Naguib attended the University of Toronto prior to his admission into Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where he completed his Doctor of Optometry degree.  His post-graduate training consisted of an externship at the Orlando Veterans Affairs Hospital Lake Nona and Kasten Eye Surgery Center in Boca Raton. Dr. Naguib concluded several medical internships in the Ft. Lauderdale community prior to completing a one-year medical residency at Newsom Eye in Tampa, Florida. This program provides an emphasis on pre-operative and post-operative management of cataract and refractive surgery in addition to the management of ocular disease. Dr. Naguib has participated in several medical service mission trips with the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists group where he had the opportunity to care for patients in Bolivia, Egypt and Nicaragua. Outside of the clinic you may find him participating in recreational basketball leagues around the Tampa Bay area.
