The Brandon Eye Clinic location of Florida Eye Specialists & Cataract Institute opened in 1981 with Dr. Gregory Henderson leading the team. Our practice has continued its growth by adding multiple convenient locations, as well as world renown medical and surgical eye specialists. We now have eight locations dedicated to preserving your vision. From infant to elderly, difficulties with vision can develop at any stage in your life. Our Brandon clinic is dedicated to being there for you, which is why we are now open on Saturday mornings in addition to our weekday hours. We offer a variety of services such as cataract care, retina disorders, glaucoma treatment, cosmetic procedures, and even routine eye exams. Our staff includes a variety of physicians with the knowledge and experience to provide exceptional care. Dr. Roy Z. Braunstein has been a staple in the Lake Wales community since 1983, treating complex ocular conditions with a diverse selection of services and procedures. Dr. Braunstein has joined the Florida Eye Specialists and Cataract Institute team, providing quality eye care to all of Central Florida; including Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Bartow, Frostproof, Avon Park,  Haines City and other neighboring communities. Dr. Braunstein and his team are dedicated to their patients, treating the vision needs in a compassionate, family-oriented environment. His services include eye examinations, Cataract Surgery, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Eyelid Surgery and more. Our Lake Wales Eye Clinic is stocked with all the state-of-the-art testing needed to ensure that you are accurate diagnosed and treated.

With Dr. Braunstein joining the Florida Eye team, the Lake Wales community now has easy access to scheduling for other eye care sub-specialties, such as Pediatric Ophthalmology, Neuro Ophthalmology, Surgical Retina, Laser Cataract Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery.

Our Location

We are located at 749 State Rd 60, Lake Wales, FL 33853. Our clinic is visible and accessible from the main road. We are directly East of the Publix Supermarket on state road 60. Our office offers ample amount of patient parking and appointments can be made by calling our clinic at (863) 676-7624 or you can request a call back by submitting an online appointment request form.  During the week we operate Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and 8 am to 1 pm on Fridays.
